Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
We keep only what we need to sign you in, count usage and bill it.
ShipRadar (shipradar.tech) is a research library of fintech apps, built from the apps' public release builds. You can use it on the website and from AI assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot and others) through its MCP server. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your email address. We ask Google only for
openidandemail. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not store your name or anything else from your Google account. - When you sign in with your company's single sign-on: your work email address and which company account it belongs to. Your company's identity provider may also send your name; we do not store it.
- Usage of the MCP server: for every tool call your assistant makes, we record the time, your account, which tool was called and whether it succeeded. We do not store what you asked or what was answered. We use this to bill usage, to apply monthly limits and to show you your own usage.
- Sign-in tokens: access and refresh tokens that keep you signed in. We store only one-way hashes of them, not the tokens themselves.
- The Ask chat on the website: your questions and the answers, kept so you can return to a conversation. They are linked to an anonymous cookie in your browser, not to your name or email.
- Server logs: like most websites, our web server logs IP addresses and requested pages, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- to sign you in and keep you signed in;
- to count usage, bill your account (you, or your company for single sign-on) and enforce limits;
- to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as described here.
Who else processes it
- Google or your company's identity provider, when you sign in through them.
- Questions asked in the website's Ask chat are sent to the AI model that answers them (Anthropic's Claude, or Google's Gemini when selected).
- When you use ShipRadar from an AI assistant, the assistant's provider receives ShipRadar's answers as part of your conversation, under their own privacy terms.
- If you sign in through your company, your company can receive a report of your usage, because it is billed for it.
How long we keep it
- Access tokens expire after 1 hour and refresh tokens after 30 days.
- Account details and usage records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed for billing and accounting.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see below). Records we must keep for accounting are kept only as long as required.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or close your account by writing to giorgi.maisuradze92@gmail.com. You can also remove ShipRadar's access from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Security
Connections to shipradar.tech are encrypted (HTTPS). API keys and sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes. Access to the server is limited to the operator.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes affecting signed-in users, we will tell you before they take effect.
